Power Properties was incorporated, and started operations, in the Province of Alberta in May 1980. The President and Broker/Owner is David W. Palmer, CPM, FRI. Our business has been, and remains, residential real estate.

We are fully licensed with the Real Estate Council of Alberta, and hold memberships in such organizations as the Calgary Real Estate Board (MLS), the Alberta Real Estate Association, the Better Business Bureau of Calgary, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the Real Estate Institute of Canada.

  • Non-Resident Tax Administration
    •  - We are fully conversant with the requirements of Canada Customs and Revenue regarding the rental by non-residents, and ensure that you do not run afoul of the rules.

  • Insurance
    •  - Getting adequate insurance on your home while it is rented can be expensive, if available at all. We have a Master Insurance Policy available for our clients which provides superior coverage at very reasonable rates.

  • Staffing
    •  - A full complement of staff enables us to properly meet your needs. Working under the direction of the President are two full time property managers, 2 property assistants and our controller handles financial matters with an assistant. We also have our own web administrator.
