Introducing Power Moves

The No Security Deposit Program

Tenants can skip the traditional security deposit and pay a small 3% monthly fee instead.

What is Power Moves?

In a traditional lease, tenants are required to pay a security deposit—typically equal to one month’s rent—before moving in.

Power Moves offers an alternative.

Instead of paying a full deposit upfront, eligible tenants can choose to pay a 3% non-refundable monthly fee, calculated based on their rent. This replaces the need for a traditional security deposit at move-in. For example, if your rent is $2,000/month, the Power Moves fee would be $60 per month instead of a $2,000 upfront deposit.

Power Moves does not change your lease terms, monthly rent amount, or approval process. It simply changes how the deposit requirement is handled.

Important: Power Moves does not reduce tenant responsibility. At move-out, a standard inspection is completed and tenants are responsible for any damages, cleaning costs, or unpaid charges in accordance with the lease.

How Power Moves Works

Is Power Moves Right for You?

Lower Move-In Costs

Moving can come with significant upfront expenses. Power Moves allows you to move in without paying a full month’s rent as a security deposit, helping you keep more cash available for moving costs, furnishings, or other priorities.

Spread Payments Over Time

Instead of tying up a large sum before move-in, the 3% non-refundable fee is added to your monthly rent. This provides a predictable, manageable cost structure throughout your tenancy.

Flexibility & Choice

Power Moves is completely optional. If you prefer the traditional refundable security deposit, you can choose that instead at the time of approval.
